Ways to make your own lip scrub
Ways to make your own lip scrub
Here's how to get it right
1. Take one tablespoon of castor sugar in a mixing bowl. Castor sugar will ensure that your lips remain smooth and soft. If you wish to add some more sugar, you can do that.
2. To this, add half a teaspoon of olive oil. It contains moisturising properties that will nourish your lips and prevent them from drying out.
3. You can also include a teaspoon of honey to this mixture. Honey is usually very sticky, thus make sure that you just use a little of it.
4. Further, you can add some flavouring ingredients to this mixture. There are plenty you can choose from — vanilla essence, lemon juice or peppermint extract.
5. A little bit of food colouring would make your lip scrub interesting. Take a pinch of pink, red or blue food colour and add this to the mixture.
6. Once you have added all the desired ingredients, you can then store the scrub in a small container and refrigerate. Use when required
